One of the most critical aspects of debate is the preparation of evidence and research, forming the backbone of in round substance. However, in today’s world of debate, there exists large resource disparities between debaters. Debaters with access to large coaching squads, prep groups, paid topic briefs, etc. hold a large advantaged over debaters with comparatively less resources and opportunities. This is especially true in Nebraska, where most debaters are from small schools debating in a much more underdeveloped local circuit than compared to national tournaments. Debate Nebraska is dedicated to making an impact in helping small school debaters (especially those just beginning progressive argumentation) gain access to key resources.
